eAccessibility 2020 Study
This study aims to explore and analyse the referred relationships between the emerging ICT landscape, in the societal and economic context and the development and provision of assistive technologies (AT) and e-Accessibility, within a perspective of 10 years.
The study main objectives are the following:
- Validated analysis of the relationships between the emerging ICT landscape, the societal and economic context and the development and provision of assistive technologies (AT) and e-Accessibility, building on a sound understanding of relevant trends and challenges.
- To elaborate and discuss a series of hypothetical scenarios on the future evolution of AT and e-Accessibility.
- To provide validated recommendations for research priorities and policy measures that are usable at European level.

This analysis relies on project data from CORDIS to explore the institutional network of the e-accessibility landscape in Europe. In total, 1062 records of European Commission funded projects in the e-accessibility field were analyzed.
Our Tentative Recommendations aim to summarize the bigger picture that started to emerge from our research so far and the many conversations held with experts and stakeholders over the last few months.
